Istanbul   2 comments

This reminded me of the painting of the red canoe, but this little boat was in the northern part of the Bosporus just before you get to the Black Sea.

This is one of my favourite photos. Although it has a lot of noise to it, I usually print it on canvas so the texture works well with the concrete and metalic stairs.

My friend and publisher Michael Finner took this photo of me when we were in Istanbul for the Opening of Queen Lear/Kraliche Lear. Some have suggested that if I ever put out an album, it should be the cover photo. Do people still put out albums?? I love this photo because it's a colour photo but it seems black and white.
